The West Angeles Community Development Corporation (CDC) Financial Wealth Building (FWB) strives to stabilize and revitalize neighborhoods in South Los Angeles. We develop housing that is affordable for working families, educate first-time buyers and provide access to financing.

West Angeles Financial Wealth Building provides the resources and tools to place you on the path to homeownership success, including but not limited to the Homebuyer Education seminar, one-on-one counseling with HUD Certified counselors and credit counseling.
The West Angeles CDC Financial Wealth Building department is certified by the United States Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) as an Affiliate member to HomeFree USA.

Homebuyer Education Courses (In-person & Online)
The Homebuyer Education Course is an eight-hour course in which perspective homebuyers receive valuable tools that will help them successfully navigate through the homebuying process. This includes financial and credit management, shopping for a home, purchase procedures and maintaining the home. Our goal is to assist perspective homebuyers in becoming mortgage-ready to purchase and sustain homeownership comfortably.

Credit Counseling
Are you facing financial difficulties? Have you been turned down for credit and not sure why or how to cure the problem? Our HUD-approved counselors will help you evaluate:

• Provide tools on how to improve or build credit
